Welcome back to another review! This time we have another review, but unlike the past couple, we have a non-supercar review. Here we have the 2017 Subaru WRX, upgraded to the max. Before we go over the upgrades, let's start by going over some of the stock specs. A 2.0 litre turbocharged flat-four engine gives this car 268 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. The transmission is a choice between a six-speed manual or a sport-tuned CVT with a manual mode. Without any upgrades, the WRX has a curb weight of 3,272 to 3,455 lbs. The WRX can travel the 0-60 time in just about 6 seconds and a 0-100 time of 13.5 seconds. The flat-four engine can propel this car to a top speed of a crazy 159 miles per hour which isn't bad for a 4-door sports car. The WRX can also do the quarter mile time in just around 13.6 seconds, traveling 102 miles per hour. Some exterior stock colors that you could choose are Crystal Black, Crystal White, Dark Grey Metallic, Ice Silver Metallic, Lapis Blue Pearl, Pure Red and the classic WR Blue Pearl. The only stock interior color for the WRX is Black. There you have a look at some of the stock features. Now we can move on to some of the crazy aftermarket upgrades that the owner has made to this car. One feature that stands out is the aftermarket rims. They are the Wedssport SA-77R wheels with Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires. Also, this WRX has a crazy airlift suspension system which helps the driver control this unique car. One thing that you see a lot of on this car is carbon fiber. Carbon Fiber is everywhere on this car including the Seibon carbon fiber front lip. Also, this WRX has an enforced aero front splitter with carbon fiber support rods. Carbon fiber fenders with vents, a Seibon Carbon fiber hood and a carbon fiber roof wrap were also added on to make this car, and make it look incredible. This car gets really into detail with carbon fiber pieces like the door handles, door handle inserts and carbon fiber gas cap are all carbon fiber. A huge Seibon GT style Carbon fiber wing towers over the back of this car. Even the license plate backing is in APR Carbon Fiber. The Subaru OEM side skirts and rear diffuser are more pieces that stand out when seeing this car. Also, Morimoto RGB C lights and profile prism halos give some color to the front lights. It also glows different colors which is another nice touch. One of the greatest features of this car in my opinion is instead of the stock black seats, the owner replaced them with white Braum seats. More aftermarket features of this car include its Raceseng weighted shift knob, custom shift boot and e-brake boot, a Perrin fender shroud, a carbon fiber intake cover and finally a Perrin yellow front strut brace. There you have a look at one of the coolest cars you will see. Even though this is not a supercar, the style of all of the aftermarket features make this car compete with the greatest Ferrari's. The Subaru WRX featured bought all stock, and was fully customized by one owner. I have been lucky enough to see this car once parked. I hope that you enjoyed this review just as much as I have. If you think that I did a good job going in depth with this crazy WRX, then let me know in the comments.
